o We understand the important role and home field advantage “the best student section in the country by far” creates each home game. We are committed to maintaining the student seating capacity, however, the layout (i.e. sections utilized) of the student section may be adjusted as part of the renovation.
Penn State is committed to preserving the identity of the historic venue while also transforming it to be utilized year-round as a campus and community hub of activity. The renovations will extend the life of the existing facility, generate new revenue, and provide exciting new seating options for Nittany Lion fans.
Student seating capacity is not expected to change, though, the layout of the student section(s) in the bowl may adjust to accommodate ongoing construction happening to the West side of Beaver Stadium.
o The process will kick off in 2025 with executive suites being the first seating option to be seated. Once we’ve completed the suites, we will turn our attention toward loge boxes and club seats. Non-premium seating will follow the sale of loge boxes and club seats.
The revitalization will bring increased restroom capacity on the West side. Most of the increase will be found on the Main Concourse and Upper Concourse.
